About me

I was born in Manchester, Jamaica and moved to Florida to study architecture. I have always had a knack for the arts, visual arts in particular, and did numerous drawings and paintings while in high school. I started my architecture studies in 2002 and art history in 2004. Photography was another way to expand my love for art and another means of providing myself (and human subjects) with aesthetic experiences.

Currently I photograph any and everything I deem interesting, but my passion is portraiture. The truly exciting thing about photography is that it stops time with every click of the shutter. if only for a moment, it is a moment you'll never experience again, but you'll always have the photograph. The entire process of making the photograph is sheer pleasure.

I am a digital photographer, which means that the photo making process extends from the camera itself to the computer and each photo is processed using digital software to get what was envisioned before the shot was captured. Taking the photo is only the beginning.
